YOW x Pukas Plan B 33" Meraki S5 - 2022 - Complete Surfskate
For those unfamiliar with the Pukas Surf workshop, it's quite simply one of Europe's leading surfboard manufacturers. The Basque brand has surrounded itself with some of the world's greatest shapers, including Axel Lorentz, the man behind many of the surfboards that inspired the YOW range, such as the Pukas La Loca, Dark Pukas and, of course, the YOW Plan B 32.5".
Initially named "In B-Twin", Axel Lorentz's hybrid board was intended to be the best of both worlds, between Twin-Fin and Thruster.
This is also the case with surfskate YOW Plan B, which arrives with some rather special arguments.
You'll immediately notice its rather unusual shape , with a medium-sized chainring, a rather short wheelbase (17") and a rather pronounced nose.
In practice, this translates into a unique surfskate that can be used in all kinds of conditions, especially at skatepark or in the bowl to take advantage of its nose. The YOW Plan B combines these characteristics with a wide, fairly concave deck, for maximum control in the most radical mooves.
Suitable for tall adults, this board is also an excellent choice for advanced skaters looking for an all-rounder surfskate.
To complete the picture, it's a magnificent tribute to Pukas' namesake model for fans of the surf brand.
