Tristan Grijalbo started selling bearings to local skateboarders in the late '90s, when he was 15, because his family owned a group of bearing companies called PSI. Later, he launched a brand called LamLam Bearings. Around the same time, LAX Departure Distributions began distributing his bearings, alongside other brands such as Elwood and Aesthetics. However, LamLam was not a great success.
