Welcome to Lakey Peak! Located on the south coast of the Indonesian island of Sumbawa, 1 hour by plane from Bali, Lakey Peak is a very famous surf spot in Indonesia and around the world.
In a dream setting, between turquoise water and white sand, high-level surfers come to rub shoulders with the perfect waves that break on the reef. A sublime spot where the wave unrolls right-left, suitable for both goofies and regulars.
We find a little of all this in the YOW Lakey Peak 32 ": a surfskate with medium measurements, perfectly adapted to average builders (1.60m - 1.75m) but which has all the potential necessary for experienced surfers who want to send heavy. With a fairly long 18.5" wheelbase, the Lakey Peak is stable enough for adult men and versatile for mixed road/pumptrack/curve use. The medium concave of its deck offers a good compromise of grip for slides and knows how to be forgotten to ride cool during daily trips.
Once again, the YOW Meraki S5 truck fulfills its role perfectly on this kind of deck to surf very fluid lines.
